Mt william holiday park is a caravan and cabin park situated in gladstone in tasmania's northeast. At the southern end of the park and marking the start of the bay of fires walk, is eddystone point lighthouse (c 1889). Nearby ansons bay is an ideal spot for bream fishing. The surrounding waters provide plenty of scope for the boating enthusiast. You can enjoy walking, fishing, swimming or bird-watching in this beautiful park. Two bunkhouses are available for group hire, known for its long white beaches, sleeping eight guests in each.the peaceful township of gladstone represents the gateway to mt william national park, azure water and teeming wildlife. A self-contained unit also sleeps four guests and includes lounge, kitchen, television, billiard table, bathroom and heated spa. Shared facilities include a lounge with wood heater, kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities. Bunk style and queen standard rooms with shared facilities accommodate four guests. The park offers dormitory style accommodation, seven powered sites and camping sites for campers, self-contained units, caravans and motor homes. The three houses at the lighthouse station are the oldest surviving lighthouse keeper's quarters in tasmania.the park is one and three-quarter hours' drive north east of launceston (132 kilometres/82 miles).
